keepalive interval
Period of time between keepalive messages sent by a network device.
keepalive message
Message sent by one network device to inform another network device that the virtual circuit between the two is still alive.
keyswitch, keyswitch model
In traditional telephony systems, a multibutton phone with several lines. Used on a site where the same few lines appear on all phones and are shared among all phones.
